Crude Steel Production Increased 8 Percent during this Spring
|
Production of crude steel increased 8 percent in Iranian steel producer units during the first three months of this Iranian year comparing to the same period of the last year and reached to 2,804,604 tons.
According to the Public Relations of the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO), the Bureau of Development and Strategy of IMIDRO Systems announced that in the same period the production of steel products reached to 2,332,229 tons.
Among the produced steel products the steel sheets hit the highest production level with the number of 998,625 tons, and then came bar production summing 822,042 tons and girder production totaling 503,301 tons.
According to this report, steel exports totaled 391,883 tons in this spring which valued some $153mil and its weight increased 96 percent increase.
The report of the Bureau of Development and Strategy of IMIDRO Systems announces that the local sales of crude steel and steel products reached to 3,386,366 tons during the first three months of this Iranian year (valuing 16,120,86mil Rials) which its weight increased 16 percent comparing to the same period of the last year.
According to this report, just in the third month of this Iranian year the crude steel production reached to 918,861 tons and the production of steel products reached to 851,410 tons.
