Venezuela’s Cement Project Reaches 80% Progress

Managing Director of Ehdasse Sanat Corp. put the progress of Venezuela’s cement project at 80 percent.
According to a report released by IMIDRO’s PR, Majid Tavakolany stated that Venezuela’s cement project is among the special plans of the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, undertaken by IMIDRO’s subset companies.
The one million tons project will be commissioned by late June 2012.
Referring to the visit paid by Venezuela’s Minister of Science and Small Industries, he noted: “The Venezuelan official was satisfied with the process of plan’s implementation.”
Expressing that the negotiations for setting up the second line, with one million tons capacity, is undertaken in Venezuela and confirmed by the country’s officials, he added: “The initial evaluations of the plan is undertaken and agreed by the authorities.”
He said that as the plans to construct houses in Venezuela is confirmed and there is a strong demand to cement, the negotiations to increase the capacity of the existing cement plants will be investigated by the company.
